Structured, non-clinical housing placement for veterans who need stability, community, and a dependable next step after service — coordinated with care and precision.
Home Front is built around one belief: veterans deserve structured, dignified housing pathways — not a patchwork of referrals and waiting lists. We work alongside VA facilities, veteran-serving organizations, and community partners to provide fast, responsible placement coordination.
What We Offer
A full suite of housing placement and coordination services designed specifically for veterans and the organizations that serve them.
We identify and secure appropriate housing for veterans exiting VA facilities, hospitals, or unstable living situations.
We work with VA providers and community partners to ensure a smooth transition from referral to move-in.
We help veterans overcome housing barriers and access the resources, documentation, and applications they need.
We build and support a network of landlords who open doors to veterans, including those with complex histories.
We stay connected after placement at 7 and 30 days to promote stability, address issues early, and support success.
Who We Serve
Home Front works with any organization that serves veterans and needs structured housing pathways for those they support.
We help reduce discharge delays by providing housing options aligned with the veteran's needs and support level.
Case managers, ACT teams, and veteran-serving nonprofits who need reliable housing partners for their clients.
Individual coordinators managing veteran caseloads who need fast, responsive housing placement support.
City agencies and community organizations building infrastructure to address veteran housing instability.
Our Process
A structured four-step process designed to move veterans into appropriate housing as quickly and safely as possible.
Use our shared referral form to tell us about the veteran. Takes less than 5 minutes.
We assess support level, budget, location, and environment to identify the right housing pathway.
We communicate with your team, landlords, and any relevant VA partners to move the referral forward.
We check in at 7 and 30 days post-placement to ensure stability and address any emerging needs.
Is your veteran also navigating behavioral health needs? Our sister program, Safety Net Behavioral Health, may also apply. Both programs are divisions of NSPS and our team can coordinate across both. Submit one referral and flag both needs — we'll handle the routing.
Whether you're a VA provider, hospital, case manager, or community organization — Home Front is ready to support your veterans with structured, accountable housing placement.
